The International Commemorative Conference, 1945-2015
2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War (WWII). To commemorate this important anniversary the Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS), National University of Malaysia (UKM), the Embassy of France in Malaysia, Goethe-Institut Malaysia, with the kind support from the Embassy of Poland in Kuala Lumpur, the Centre of European Studies of the Lund University (Sweden) and the Japan Foundation will hold a major international conference, revisiting the outbreak of this development, and its significance in Asia, Europe and throughout the world. The conference will be held over a course of three days.
