FrancoTour 5th Edition [fr]

In partnership with 8 embassies of member countries of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (Belgium, France, Guinea, Mexico, Senegal, Switzerland, Ukraine and Uruguay), the French Embassy in Malaysia is taking part in the 5th FrancoTour. The aim of this playful event is to promote the cultural diversity of the member countries of the Organisation de la Francophonie and the spread of the French language in Malaysia.

This year, the FrancoTour will take place in 9 different Malaysian states (including Sarawak and Labuan in Island Malaysia/North Borneo) between 16 April and 23 May.

The series of events will bring together around 1,350 students learning French in state secondary schools. The programme will include a creative activity based around the athletes of the Games of La Francophonie, a digital escape game in French, a singing competition, a question-and-answer session with diplomats from La Francophonie and a prize-giving ceremony.
