Funding Opportunity for Malaysian NGOs Involved in Environmental Protection and the Fight Against Climate Change

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of our bilateral relations with Malaysia, the Embassy of France in Malaysia is exceedingly pleased to reveal the three projects that have been awarded funding through this call:

1) Training Youth Rangers : Capacity-building Iskandar Puteri Youth for Environmental Citizenship and Action, submitted by Kelab Alami

2) Tioman Marine Conservation Group, submitted by Reef Check Malaysia

3) Empowering fishermen’s community in the conservation of migratory shorebirds and mangrove through community-based ecotourism, submitted by Nature Educational Society (NEST)

Congratulations to the awardees and many thanks to all the NGOs who submitted their applications. Our internal and external evaluators were impressed by the quality of the proposals. We look forward to keep working together towards environmental preservation!
