Oceans and seas are posing challenges for the 21st century: They are an essential component of the logistics in the frame a global economy; They are also the field of geopolitics, mixing states and non-state actors; they are a fishing environment, a reservoir of biodiversity, fossil & mineral resources: marine resources.
In particular, the scientific symposiums will focus essentially on the sustainable management of marine resources, while keeping a fresh perspective on the key issues of the oceans and the sea, in a global context of climate change weakening the marine environment.
