3.7 million people marched against terrorism throughout France on Sunday, 11 January 2015. Support demonstrations also took place abroad.
French President François Hollande, and heads of state and government of many countries marched in Paris to honour the 17 victims of the attacks that have devastated France and to defend freedom. The Ambassador of Malaysia represented his country.
The same day, about 400 people gathered at the Residence of France in Malaysia to mark their solidarity with this great national event.
The Embassy of France in Kuala Lumpur opens a book of condolences. It may be signed by all persons wishing to join in the tribute to the victims at 192 Jalan Ampang on Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15, January 2015 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. An ID will be requested at the entrance.
